Never-before-seen untouched portraits of celebrities including Kate Moss, George Clooney and Julia Roberts go on display in London
A series of stunning, never-before-seen pictures of celebrities are about to go on display in London.
Untouched photographs of 30 stars, including George Clooney, Kate Moss and Julia Roberts will be shown to the public for the first time ever as ONGallery launches its month-long pop-up exhibition with MBE British Photographer Andy Gotts.
Unseen and Untouched London Exhibition also includes images of stars like Samuel L Jackson, Harrison Ford and Danny DeVito.
The likes of Pierce Brosnan, Penelope Cruz, Brad Pitt and Kate Winslet show off a number of expressions and strike various poses in the gorgeous portraits.
The raw and stunning black-and-white images have been completely untouched, something rarely seen in the modern world of photo editing.
Born in Norfolk in 1971, Gotts is one of the few photographers who does not retouch his images. His unique style of portraiture captures his subjects from the disciplines of film, fashion and music acting ‘outside of the box’, off the cuff and most importantly, these are immortalised ‘as shot’.
To satisfy his desire to be true to his art form and document accurately what is in front of the lens none of his subjects are ever retouched after the shutter release has been activated.
He believes his images give you a true reflection of the person behind the celebrity mask. The Unseen Collection is a wonderful insight into not only the untouched famous faces but the personalities behind them.
Gotts’ unique style captures very private moments in time. His method is highly unusual in that he travels the world to photograph his subjects in their own home where they are most relaxed. He shoots completely alone with no assistants present, allowing him to create the privacy and intimacy required to capture his subject in ways that are truly unseen.
ONGallery and Andy Gotts Unseen exhibition is open from tomorrow to July 15 at The Showroom Presents, 25 Effie Road, Fulham Broadway, from 10am to 6pm each day.
All prints will be available for sale at the exhibition.
ONGallery.com was founded in 2014 by its chief executive Peter Neilson and offers authentic and exclusive limited edition photographic and original art prints, that are also available online.
